The following was submitted for posting by a regular JLog reader. It addresses compatibility issues with the EverNote 2.2 clipper button. The purpose of the workaround is to be able to paste directly to EverNote as was possible in earlier browser versions.

I’ve been using EverNote 2 for years, and never noticed this before.
Under File is an option called Import Wizard. This imports individual files if they’re text, HTML or images. This can be done once or set for Auto-Import on a continual basis. … [continued]
Does anyone have a favorite notes program? All purpose note-taker, note-organizer thingamabob? I tried for the fourth time to upgrade to Evernote 3 and I still can’t get my mind around it. I don’t know what they’re imagining over there for the future but the way the recent past has been going it’s not looking good.
I’ve been dragging my feet about upgrading to Evernote 3. EverNote 2 is still available for download but they’ve dropped it on its head and someday it will be gone. Life without Evernote of some kind is unfathomable.
